Hand forged bodkins. short type. Forged from solid round stock. unlike machined cheap imported these arrowheads are tough. well fitted and fairly consistent in weight. I’ve been a fletcher for over 20 years and i make all my own traditional arrows. will fit between 11/32 and 7/16 shafts or bolts. mild steel, precision hand ground, polished and parkerized in oil for a rust resistant hard finish.

if you look at the point the very tip is chisel ground to prevent burrs and rolling over on impact.

the socket is chamfered to prevent snags from drawing the arrow from quivers and to prevent the head snapping off from hard impact.

1.0 -1.1 oz each. average weight. between 437 to 481 grains. not bad for hand made!
